Marrakech – Kasbah of Telouet – Aït Ben Haddou
The first day of your Marrakech Sahara tour will take you across the High Atlas through the Tizi’n’Tichka Pass (2,260m). You can admire the green valleys and small villages scattered in the High Atlas Mountains.
A visit to the Kasbah of Telouet, also called the Palace of Glaoui, is planned. It is located on the old road of the commercial caravans. Important salt mines are located near the Kasbah of Telouet. After marking this stop, your Marrakech Sahara tour continues with the crossing of the Valley of Ounila before arriving at Ait Ben Haddou where you will spend the night. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Aït Ben Haddou is an inhabited ksar with kasbahs in the red earth. He has served as a backdrop in many movies. It represents the typical architecture of southern Morocco. Dinner and overnight on site.
