Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora – Sahara desert camp in Mhamid
If during your holidays in Ouarzazate, you have two days for an original activity, go for a weekend in the desert!
On the first day of your weekend in the Sahara, you will be picked up by your guide from Ouarzazate. Then you will cross the Draa Valley and visit the palm grove down to Agdz and Zagora. Several stops are planned on the road to enjoy your Sahara trip. The Drâa Valley leads to the M’hamid desert. The landscapes of the Anti-Atlas are really nice! The typical villages are also very charming.
At noon, you will take a break at the kasbah of Tamnougalt for tea or lunch.
Once the visit is over, you will continue to Zagora (possibility to visit the pottery workshop in Tamgroute) before to join the village of M’hamid.
M’hamid El Ghizlane is the last village before the desert. You will spend your Sahara weekend there, in a traditional nomadic camp.
Our Sahara desert camp is about 6 km from the village.
At the end of the day, you can admire the sunset over the surrounding dunes. You will then enjoy Sahrawi music and dinner at the camp. Night in nomadic tent.
