Day 1
Morocco desert trek 3 days – enjoy a wild camping in the Sahara
In the morning, you will find camels and you can start your hike in the Sahara desert. On the first day of your Morocco desert trek, you will discover different landscapes in the desert, enjoy the quiet and silence.
At noon, you take a break for lunch before continue your Morocco camel trekking tour in the afternoon. You advance with your guides and camels in the beautiful dunes of the Sahara Desert.
In the evening, you have the chance to dinner around a campfire.
The overnight is done in the desert, in a wild camp under the stars.
Day 2
A 4X4 tour to the great dunes of Erg Chigaga
Your Morocco desert trek will bring you to the great dunes of Erg Chigaga.
On the second day of this trip, you leave camels and you continue this trip by 4×4 to Erg Chigaga.
Here, you will discover the largest dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Erg Chigaga is called “the sea of sand”.
At noon, enjoy lunch in an Erg Chigaga desert camp.
After that, you can walk in the big dunes of Erg Chigaga, relax in the camp or take tea with local nomads.
In the afternoon, you will assist to an unforgettable sunset over the dunes!
Dinner and overnight in a nomadic tent. You will enjoy Sahrawi nomadic music!
Day 3
From Erg Chigaga to M’hamid by the track in the desert
The end of your Sahara tour is approaching. After breakfast in Erg Chigaga, you will return by 4×4 to M’hamid around noon.
There are about 2 hours driving on the track in the desert from Erg Chigaga to the village of M’hamid. Enjoy beautiful landscapes during your trip! You will stop to visit an oasis in the desert.
Lunch is planned at our desert camp in M’hamid. You will appreciate a delicious meal prepared by the Sahrawi nomads. Departure in the afternoon.

- It is recommended to spend the night before the departure for your camel trekking tour in M’hamid or in the surroundings.
- You can also stay at the desert camp for an extra night at your back from this Sahara tour.
