M’Hamid El Ghizlane is the starting point for our camel treks and an ideal gateway to the Sahara. Located south of Zagora, at the edge of the desert, the village gives access to wild and less-travelled areas of southern Morocco.
Depending on the itinerary, your camel trek in Morocco can take you through dunes, desert plateaus, oases and traditional nomadic routes. Several durations are available, including 3-day, 4-day, 5-day and 7-day camel treks.

Plan at least 10 days for a big tour of Morocco. The country’s diversity deserves time; rushing through it means missing out on its soul. Start a Morocco tour from Casablanca, Marrakech, Fez, Ouarzazate, or Agadir, for an immersion in the country’s medinas, bustling souks, culture and architecture.
Then, explore the Atlas Mountains, where Berber villages cling to the hillsides and trails offer breathtaking views. From there, head to the golden dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) for a night under the stars in the Sahara. Or experience the great dunes of Erg Chigaga.
